Now, we’ve seen a handful of customers posting videos voicing their concerns, but Stanley products, including this tumbler, are designed with your health in mind. They are BPA-free and constructed from 18/8 stainless steel, ensuring that you won’t be at risk of being exposed to any lead while using it. To provide customers with as much clarity as possible, Stanley themselves have issued the following statement: "At Stanley, one of the key features of our products is our vacuum insulation technology, which provides consumers with drinkware that keeps beverages at the ideal temperature." With this statement, Stanley acknowledges that although lead is used in the manufacturing process, they stress that it absolutelydoes not come into contact with users of their products, affirming that "Once sealed, this area is covered with a durable stainless steel layer, making it inaccessible to consumers. Rest assured that no lead is present on the surface of any Stanley product that comes into contact with the consumer nor the contents of the product."
