Underrated Products That, As A Lash Tech, You Can’t Live Without
We’re sure you're aware of all the must-have products that you need in your lash kit; including lash glue, tweezers, and lashes (of course). But do you know about the unsung heroes of a lash technician’s kit? If not, you need to get to know them! These products are a lash tech’s dream; each essential product will make your lash kit complete.

1. Glue Shaker
If you haven't got a Glue Shaker, you're missing out. It is the crème de la crème of a lash artists kit. If you're struggling with retention or if you simply want to save time and energy, a lash glue shaker will be a lifesaver! Who wants to be shaking their lash glue anymore? It’s outdated, and quite frankly it's a faff. Say goodbye to wrist strain, it won’t be an issue anymore! Your lash glue will be mixed to perfection, and your retention will be unmatched.
Not only does it save you the manual labor, but it will also look super adorbs on your lash trolley. It’s a win-win, you are sprucing up your salon and maximizing your clients’ lash retention at the same time!
2. Hygrometer & Thermometer 2 in 1
A salon must-have! To not have a Hygrometer & Thermometer should be considered a crime in the lash world, we aren’t exaggerating we promise. If you're having trouble with your eyelash glue, your glue might not be the issue! Especially if your climate is particularly unpredictable, the hygrometer helps you stay in control of your lash room. It ensures that your room remains within the optimal conditions that your lash glue suggests.

3. Eyelid Tape
Are you struggling to lash inner and outer corners, or do you lash clients’ with mature or hooded eyelids and want to prevent chemical burns? Eyelid tape is your go-to solution, it will make your life as a lash technician much easier! Pre-cut eyelid tape can be used in multiple ways, from lifting your clients lids, to sticking them down due to eye fluttering, and to help lash hard-to-see lashes.

4. Protein Pads
Protein Pads are an underrated gem of the pretreatment routine and in your lash kit in general. We hope you know how important a pretreatment routine is to your lash routine, and if you don't know, get to know. These small pads pack a punch and contain all of the goodies: Vitamin E, Aloe Vera extract, and Amino Acid Complex.
Just one pad can remove makeup, oil, and protein traces on and around the eyes, resulting in nourished and fresh skin and lashes. If you want a deeply cleansed lash line (and why wouldn't you?) - protein pads will do the job, and will do it well.
